Fragmentation

Who says it's easy to bear
detachment and broken-ness
for once we are broken
we have to gather
all those pieces
bit by bit, all
shreds and crumbs
slowly and gradually
with bleeding fingers
and wounded spirit
to form, what it had been once
and yet some marks
of detachment remain
some scars would remind
us of fragmentation
