Pass me by

Many seasons have passed me by One after, another, after another From one end of this, world to the other, Many springs have crossed me by Since marigold in lahore, and Poinsettia in Edinburgh All bloomed and withered away, Many autumn arrived and stayed Illuminating the silent valleys with Rainfall of flaming leaves And just when I thought, it wouldn't ever leave me alone Winters arrived and brought along some tears In the sombre moonlit colder nights The pain would heightened and shine Like the last of the twinkling star Looking down upon the sleeping sea Spring returned but all without hopes The seasons switched and years gone by One after another, they passed me by.
