Love in times of Corona

You were right I couldn't figure out, then But now I somehow know I was running aimlessly To get hold of unseen Never in that chaos, though I forgot your smile or That twinkle in your eyes when They turn to hold mine And your words, your magical words They kept echoing in my dreams Your voice, your ethereal voice Which always stirred the strings of my heart beat Was there, very much there, But I had moved ahead And then the universe decided To turn me around To hold my breath To remember it, from the end Where there was you Where there was me And none in-between Where your words erupted For me Where my poems whispered For you Where in the warmth of your arms The world was forgotten Where in the secret quarters We created a private eden Where in the humm of your heartbeat My name echoed Where in the dreams of my nights Your name shone brighter I searched for you then like A lost child in the jungle I called out your name Over and over and over ...

Moving fast blindly With no looking back Leaving things behind Which included people, those Who made my life, and above all, Who made me complete Those who knew me physically, and Those who remained a peice of my soul One by one, all of them, Although they were not forgotten, They remained into backdrop The travel to the skies Is often acheived alone But what about those who Pushed you to the front Who cared and served and prayed Who did, who saw and waited And the the divine decision arrived And there was nothing but to follow. It was to rebuild connections Redo, what remained undone It was to see the smiles and Feel the sparkles in the eyes It was to hold the relations In the highest order It was not a curse-this Corona It was an unknown blessing.

In times of Corona

Under the piles of papers And dreams of achieving  In the run to catch a flight To an unseen destination  In the chaos of thoughts, which They called life,  In the middle of nowhere, which Appeared to be everywhere  In the circle of un-necessities, where I circulated blind-folded Moved and rushed and paused,  Only to begin again, like the Ticking handles of a wall clock,  Then came a sudden pause.  The circle remained but the movement  Slowed and reversed The running feet came to a, halt.  The unseen became visible, amongst The visible fears  The heartbeat could be heard, the  Colors could be weaved The sky became clearer, the birds  Could fly higher The feelings could be felt, and Machines transformed into humans The fearful, the cheerful, the dreamer The life minus the chaos, infact Was how it all meant to be.

Paused

Time has paused Time which was linked with Each heart beat akin to Your comings and goings Comings, which provided those Sacred moments turned into eternity Beats which set to the rhythm of Your whispers, your words, your poems Days which initiated with your gentle notes Nights, that fall and brought nothing but Ecstacy. Ecstacy which arise with a surrender To the truth which you behold But time has paused And the heart has been missing its beats The whispers, words, the ecstasy is nomore The night doesn't surrender, the pain ever plunges The path is broken and every truth is oblivion

Heartache

Never knew, it would lead this way, The words, I wrote would appear blurred The feelings I possessed would transform into a nightmare The smiles I shared would bring about a heartache The dreams I weaved would sleep in an alcove The spirit I followed would shatter into pieces Never knew, But then This is how life goes on.

December, one again

Going back in time, Is not so difficult As it may seems All it needs is a diary, And some written pages To go through, one after another To relive those memories All it needs is a book Filled with poems, Reflecting the emotions We once went through, All it needs is an old worn sweater And Sweet indulgences of Sleepless nights, Restless days, With each new sun Brought along the Brightness of Renewed hopes, Endless longings Enchanting conversation, Fearless endeavors, And as in this December Wearing an old sweater, Writing my diary, Reading the poems I wrote in those times, It dawns on me, how, Going back in time Is not so difficult As it may seems.
