Punishment

 Disconnecting, disappearing and leaving for good,

is far more grave punishment than slapping my face would have been

Its akin to killing someone without actually running the knife across the neck.

And one such maneuver where you cant let out your cries of pain

The hardest punishment I would ever receive in my life, all for something that I never did or said.

From someone whom I believe, loved me for all those years, and from someone who used to be the orbit of my life.

Life is the most cruel joke itself!
